A Citizen's Primer: Recycling and Dual-Collection in Philadelphia (2001)
The document provides an analysis of Philadelphia's Recycling Program and a review of the state-of the-art of recycling and solid waste collection efficiency strategies as practiced in urban and suburban municipalities in locations throughout the country. Maurice Sampson authored the report that was prepared by PennFuture and MACREDO in cooperation with the Clean Water Fund and Clean Air Council.
PET School Recycling "How-To" Handout and School Recycling Flyer (2001)
These materials were developed for the PET School Recycling Pilot Project sponsored by MACREDO and the D.C. Office of Recycling with NAPCOR funding. Participating schools were provided with recycling bins, promotional flyers, an instructional handout, and the opportunity for an assembly presentation as outreach for the project. The DC Office of Recycling used the pilot to determine the best method for District-wide PET recycling.
